Tennessee Football Legend Heath Shuler is on The Pitch this Saturday

On Saturday, June 27 University of Tennessee football legend and former U.S. Congressman Heath Shuler will join Weston Wamp on the Pitch. Shuler, who set virtually every passing record as a star quarterback at UT, will chat with Weston about the Heath-1upcoming football season and give his take on the divisive politics of Washington.

As a senior at the University of Tennessee, Shuler finished runner up to Charlie Ward for the Heisman Trophy. Listen in from 10-noon on ESPN 105.1 the Zone.

GOP “Kingmaker” Jim Demint Joins Weston on The Pitch This Saturday

Former United States Senator and Heritage Foundation President Jim Demint will join Weston on The Pitch this Saturday on ESPN 105.1 between 10 AM and noon.

Senator Demint is widely regarded as one of the most influential conservatives in demintWashington and is regularly referred to at the Republican “kingmaker.”

In addition to talking about the GOP’s message to millennials and the jumbo-sized Republican field for President, Weston will take Senator Demint back to his roots as a graduate of the University of Tennessee and talk some Vols football with the conservative icon.

Also on Saturday’s show, Weston will be joined by Byron Buxton, the #1 prospect in all of minor league baseball, his father former Congressman Zach Wamp, and former UTC men’s basketball coach John Shulman to talk about the NBA finals.
